Degrees of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite


The Degree Structure of the Symbolic Degrees consist of three degrees conferred in a Symbolic or "Blue" Lodge under the jurisdiction of a "regular" Grand Lodge of Masons.

The Degree Structure of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite is separated into five additional branches. These branches are the Ineffable, Historical, Philosophical, Traditional and Chivalric and the Official branches (each referred to as "houses").
